Here is the recent release from CDP and a few additional photos:
Crazy Diamond Performance Inc. (CDP) is offering a complete turn-key 1932 Ford Roadster that’s powered by natural gas. “This has been many years in the making, using an alternative fuel and putting an innovative twist on an American Icon,” states Kevin Fern President and Founder of CDP. The all-steel 1932 Ford Roadster (replica) is fitted with CDP’s 330 HP “Cruizer” crate engine and its advanced GEM engine management system. The vehicle includes items such as OnStar™, catalytic converters and a functioning On Board Diagnostics (OBD) system. The vehicle carries 9.1 gasoline gallon equivalent (gge) of fuel. The “Cruizer” is a modified General Motors 5.3L engine with upgraded internal components, like the camshaft, lightweight valves and hardened valve seats. The “Cruizer” engine and 4L65 overdrive transmission were the selected components for the environmentally-friendly hot rod. The hot rod’s paint, interior, wheels and tires are customizable, allowing the customer to choose the look they desire. This fenderless roadster is the quintessential American hot rod. Refueling a natural gas vehicle could be as easy as pulling up to your house. For a list of natural gas fuel stations and home refueling units, please visit our website at www.crazydiamondperformance.com. The nationwide average for a GGE of natural gas is $2.00. An American Icon powered by an American fuel.
