Cache Valley Cruise In 2013

It's that time of year again. Time for the 4th of July celebrations, burgers and ribs on the grill and The Cache Valley Cruise-In. Held every year on the 4th of July weekend since 1982, the Cache Valley Cruise-In is an essential car show you just have to go to in the summer.

With its beautiful park like setting, streams and lots of huge shade trees, the Cache Valley Fairgrounds in Logan Utah plays host facility for the Cache Valley Cruising Association’s show. The site also has camping areas for motor homes, trailers and tents. With Logan being a short drive from surrounding areas in Wyoming and Idaho, and only roughly 90 miles from Salt Lake City, or 50 Miles from Ogden Utah it's a close day trip in any hot rod, classic car or muscle car, although you should come and stay for the weekend as there are fun events happening all 3 days of the show.

Here are some of the fun events you don't want to miss:

  • Poker run
  • Sock hop
  • Swap meet
  • Kids games
  • Lip sync contest
  • Concert by one of rock's most iconic female rockers, Pat Benatar (Friday night concert)
  • and much more...

Growing in popularity, with an excess of 1000 cars the show is Utah’s largest 3 day car show. Some of the popularity comes from the annual car giveaway that is held Saturday evening. Recent grand prize giveaway cars have been a 1936 Chevrolet Coupe, a 1928 Ford Model A Sedan, a 1967 GTO convertible and a 1969 Dodge Charger. This year’s car is a blue and white, 1969 Dodge Super Bee, complete with the 383 motor and 4 speed transmission.

Be sure to take a trip down the vendor midway where Hot Rod Time will be set up for the weekend. We will have games and prizes for those that sign up, gifts for current members, a coloring contest for the kids and more. We will also be giving away a cool pedal car to 1 lucky participant.

roadster nicknamed "The Gasser" that’s powered by a 650 Horsepower CNG (Compressed Natural Gas) GM LS7 motors. The car is complete with electric power steering, anti-lock brakes, traction control and a paddle shifted 6 speed automatic transmission.

Be sure to stop by and say hi and check out all the cool stuff and cool cars!
