Get your fix of cars and motorcycles during three events to raise awareness of autism on Saturday, April 28.
About 150 automobiles and 150 motorcycles are expected to be part of a show from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. that day at Pops Burgers, Malts & More, 310 12th St., Ogden. Admission to see the show is free.
A 100-mile motorcycle ride begins at 10 a.m. at Carey’s Cycle, 4450 S. 700 West, Riverdale. Participants will ride north into Cache Valley and come back through Brigham City, ending up at the Ogden malt shop. Registration for the ride begins at 9 a.m.
The third event is a three-leg car cruise that starts at 10 a.m. at the Valley Fair Mall, 3601 S. 2700 West, West Valley City. Or, riders may join the cruise at 11:15 a.m. at the Layton Hills Mall, 1201 N. Hill Field Road, Layton; or at 12:15 p.m. at the Newgate Mall, 3651 Wall Ave., Ogden.
The cruise concludes at the Ogden malt shop; registration for each leg begins one half-hour before the start time.
The entry fee to participate in the ride or cruise, or to enter a vehicle in the show, is $20. All proceeds will be donated to the Northern Utah Autism Program’s children’s classroom fund.
The event is sponsored by Ogden’s Beehive Kustoms car club and Utah’s Templar Knights Motorcycle Club.
